THE PLOT
No one knows exactly how the universe began. It was first believed that a cosmic explosion sent the worlds spinning out into the great expanse of darkness. But no mere cosmic explosion could account for its wonders and intracacies, especially the existence of magic. It was undeniable that greater forces were at work.

At a seemingly insignificant part of the universe lies Edean, a world much like the one you call Earth. There is nothing especially extraordinary about it save for the land of Navarre, home to a gifted race of Goddess-worshiping humans known as the Blessed, shrouded from the eyes of outsiders by a invisible veil of magical energy.

Throughout the course of Edean's history, the Blessed established governments, forged kingdoms and explored Navarre as all societies undoubtably do within their own lands. Unfortunately, the presence of the magical shroud always hindered those endeavors in one way or another. The Blessed used their magics to learn of what lie beyond the shroud and were not surprised to find beings like their own (albeit quite powerless), who came to be known as the Outsiders. However, unlike the Blessed the Outsiders were unaware of their gifted counterparts in the land of Navarre.

Our tale takes place in a time of advancing technology and knowledge. The Blessed believe they have determined a way to finally pass through the shroud that has proved inpenetrable in the past and it seems the coalescence of the Blessed and the Outsiders is imminent. Archmage Altur Shaldran, Supreme Chancellor of Navarre, has begun preparations for inevitable event and his efforts have been met with mixed reactions. While many are prepared to welcome the Outsiders with open arms and eager curiosity, others are skeptical and fearful. How do you feel? What is your role to play in the land of Navarre?
