The times are bright and Navarre rests peacefully, unbeknownst to the Outsiders... but their arrival is inevitable and the very existence of the realms and its Blessed may be threatened.

Welcome to Illuminàre, a short-application (although longer is obviously encouraged) play-by-post role playing game set in Navarre, a mysterious land of magic and intrigue. Choose to be Blessed or Untouched and embark upon an endless adventure into the imagination where you will fight for the future of your beloved realms! Please read our plot, rules and articles before registering.

We are currently accepting original characters. Please visit the Occupations Listing for more information about positions your character can accept. Please remember to register with your character's first and last name, fill out a character sheet, select a play-by and make an avatar that follows our guidelines.

SETTING: Summer. It's quite hot and humid in Emelan at the moment. The breeze off the Mystral Sea is comforting to the citizens of Tirisaa.

The Upper City This district is inhabited by the noble and wealthy residents of Tirisaa. Here, they surround themselves with the trappings of prosperity, far from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the city. As you can imagine it is an upscale and attractive district and a very safe place to live. The residents occupy estates rather than cramped blocks of houses. Trade District Laying more or less in the center of Tirisaa, this district is always bustling with activity. The city's bank, post office and auction house as well as various outlets for consumers' coin are all located within. The Trade District is also the site of Tirisaa's bazaar, where one can find treasures from all across the realms. Many of Tirisaa's residents make their living here day after day, selling their crafts and goods.	0	0	-- In: ---- By:
Harbor Front The harbor is the main hub of Republic naval and trade routes. Since Tirisaa is the Republic's largest port city, ships stop here on their way elsewhere. Ships of all sizes can be anchored in the harbor and passing by its mouth. A short distance from the docks is a lighthouse, which also functions as a guard tower. The Arcanum The elegant and vine-covered Arcanum houses The Elmbridge Academy. Elmbridge is known as the land's foremost centre of magical research, training and study for the Blessed and is overseen by Unnamed. Those with magical aptitude are 'sniffed' out and given the option of attending. The arcanum also houses Chancellor's Archives, Navarre's endless archives of magical lore that are maintained by Elmbridge's dedicated staff.	0	0	-- In: ---- By:
The Eventide The Eventide is without doubt one of the most upclass districts of the city, being the home of many mages. It is decorated with vast lush gardens and large fountains and many find the presence of nature a welcome respite from the vast stone thoroughfares of the rest of the city. Here also stands the Temple of the Moon, one of Tirisaa's most striking architectural masterpieces and home to the most influential spiritual leaders. Steel Square Aptly named, this district is home to Tirisaa's barracks, the main quarters and training grounds of of the city's Sentinels. Located nearby are the stables, where militarymen and citizens store their horses. Steel Square is also home to the Stockade which houses petty crooks, political insurgents, dangerous criminals and dangerous magical entities best left in the hands of professionals. Lower City This district houses both Tirisaa's lower and middle class citizens, although their is a strict divide between the two areas. Being the poorest region in the city, it is also the most crime-stricken although regularly patrolled by the Sentinels. The middle class citizens living here travel to the Trade District on a daily business to do their business and live in a relatively safe and clean environment. Storm Citadel Storm Citadel is the seat of power in the both the land of Navarre and Emelan. This mighty keep sits watch over Tirisaa atop the cliffs north of the city and houses the Supreme Chancellor, Altur Shalrand, and many of the city's nobles. It was designed with security in mind as the keep itself becomes a means of escape, with several secret tunnels entombed deep within the rock.
